Questions

Frequently asked

A few things people often want to know before reaching out. Here are answers to a few common questions before getting started.

How do I get started?

Use the Request a Visit page to connect with us, or email contact@riverfallscounseling.com. We will follow up to discuss scheduling and next steps.

Do you offer telehealth or in-person sessions?

Both. In-person sessions are available at 400 Pearl Street, Suite 202E, New Albany, Indiana, and telehealth is available when appropriate.

Do you work with children and teens?

Yes. River Falls serves clients age 8 and older. Kelsey has years of experience providing school-based and community therapy for children and teens.

What are your session rates?

Current self-pay rates are $50 for a 30-minute session, $75 for a 45-minute session, and $100 for a 60-minute session. Payment is due at the time of service. See our Rates & Insurance page for details.

Do you accept insurance?

River Falls is currently self-pay and out-of-network. We are actively working to become in-network with commercial insurance plans, but coverage is not considered in-network until contracting and credentialing are complete. For clients who have out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill to submit to your insurer; reimbursement depends on your individual plan and is not guaranteed.

What if I'm in crisis?

This website isn't monitored for emergencies. If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 right away.
